The role involves delivering safe and competent physical therapy treatments as ordered by physicians. The practitioner plans and implements specific treatment programs while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and supervising support personnel.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or an equivalent from a CAPTE-accredited program. A current Florida Physical Therapist license is required, though a temporary permit may be accepted.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT Assists in the planning, organization and implementation of specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of safe and competent physical therapy as ordered by a physician and under the direction of a physical therapist. Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team. May supervise work of support personnel.
