Performs routine non-professional and professional patient care, including setting up patients for testing and performing visual fields. Responsible for sterilizing instruments, preparing post-op kits, and maintaining the order of waiting rooms.
Preference for graduates of a Patient Care Technician program with at least six months of related experience. A current American Heart Association BLS certificate is required.

Under supervision, performs routine non-professional and professional care; unbagging and bagging equipment, make up post op kits, direct doctors and patients to the appropriate rooms, assist medical staff with patient care, perform visual fields, setup patients for required testing, keep instruments and equipment sterilized, maintain adequate supplies and keep front and back waiting rooms in order.
