The phlebotomist is responsible for collecting venous, arterial, and capillary blood specimens. These samples are then provided to laboratory technical staff for analysis.
Candidates should have at least 6 months of experience or certification from an accredited program, along with CPR and ABG certifications. A passing score on a Medical Terminology exam is required.
Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to work in our Laboratory.
The incumbent is to collect venous, arterial and capillary blood specimens for analysis by the laboratory technical staff.
