The Licensed Practical Nurse monitors patient health, administers medications, and provides nursing care for detox and residential program clients. Responsibilities include conducting admissions, performing safety checks, and collaborating with the treatment team to maintain a substance-free environment.
Candidates must hold a current valid Practical Nurse (PN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license and a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. A valid chauffeur license and experience in substance abuse treatment are also required or preferred.
The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for monitoring patients' health, administering medications, providing nursing care, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients. Provide health care services to detox and program clients according to professional standards and The Salvation Army Harbor Light Programs Policies and Procedures.
