About the role

The RN/LPN provides oversight, delegation, and coordination of total nursing care to meet the holistic needs of residents. They collaborate with healthcare providers and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Description Memorial Community Health, Inc. is seeking to fill the position of Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our long-term care facility at Memorial Community Care in Aurora, NE. This position would be PRN for night shift. The RN/LPN provides, and performs oversight, delegation and coordination of total nursing care with other health care providers to meet holistic needs of residents.

Job Duties

Utilizes the nursing process, for the performance of resident care, to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate resident care to achieve prioritized resident outcomes according to the RN scope of practice. Collaborates with health care providers to coordinate medical and nursing management of resident care. Provides resident care supervision. Performs emergency treatment as required in accordance within the RN scope of practice. Performs and maintains documentation. Promotes and ensures resident and staff safety in all aspects of responsibilities. Follows HIPAA regulations and ensures that the confidentiality of patients’ medical, personal, financial records, employee records, and organizational records is maintained. Complies, understands, and enforces state and federal regulatory requirements related to the performance of Memorial Community Health operations and requirements, including but not limited to HIPAA, the Code of Conduct, the Compliance Policy, Safety and Infection Control, all department and organization-wide policies, and Federal and State of Nebraska regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school/college of nursing Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Nursing Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska Basic Life Support (BLS)
