The Harm Reduction Worker manages daily operations of Drop-In Services, providing non-judgmental support including laundry, showers, and food coordination. They are responsible for patient intake, facilitating support groups, and documenting interactions in the electronic health record.
Candidates must have an Associate degree in public health or a related field, or two years of experience working with at-risk populations. A valid NYS driver's license and sensitivity to health disparities in underserved populations are required.

The Harm Reduction Worker is responsible for helping with the daily operations of Evergreen’s Drop-In Services, including the provision of services in a non-judgmental manner, such as coordinating showers, laundry, food and beverage, and individual and group support. This role ensures that services are provided smoothly, in a safe environment, and are tracked appropriately
Qualified candidate will have an Associate degree in public health or related field, or two years of experience working with at-risk populations; ability to travel between office locations as needed; have and maintain a current and valid NYS driver’s license, verified thought the NYS LENS system; excellent verbal and written communication skills; awareness of and sensitivity to the issues and health disparities faced by underserved populations is essential
