The COTA will implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans and provide functional interventions to support resident mobility and quality of life. They are also responsible for documenting treatment notes and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited COTA program and hold a valid Iowa COTA license. Flexibility for PRN scheduling and a passion for serving older adults are required.
💼 What You’ll Do As a PRN COTA, you’ll play an essential hands-on role in delivering meaningful care and helping residents achieve their personal goals. You will: Carry out individualized OT treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist Provide creative, functional interventions that support mobility, ADLs, and quality of life Communicate progress and observations to the OT to ensure optimal outcomes Document treatment notes accurately and efficiently Collaborate with a warm, interdisciplinary team that values your voice and clinical insight Step in as needed to support weekday or weekend PRN coverage This is a chance to make a real difference—every shift, every patient, every interaction.
