As a PRN MLT Medical Lab Technician, you’ll arrive for a rotating shift and review pending work, priorities, and any notes from the previous team. The pace varies—some hours are routine, others are driven by urgent clinical needs—so you’ll stay organized while moving between benches and the LIS. You’ll coordinate with nursing and other departments as questions arise, keep documentation clear for continuity across days/evenings/nights, and close out the shift by confirming handoff details for the next rotation.
