Performs routine and specialized laboratory tests to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Responsible for quality control, equipment maintenance, and training new employees or students.
Requires an Associate's degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Technology, with a Bachelor's in Clinical Laboratory Science preferred. Preference is given to candidates with ASCP or NCA certification and 2 years of clinical experience in moderate to high complexity testing.
