The candidate will provide cosmetic aesthetic services and assist doctors with oculoplastic examinations and procedures. They will also handle patient triage, education, and administrative tasks to support clinic operations.
A valid aesthetic license is required, while experience in eye or plastic surgery is helpful. Candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Assist doctors during examinations and procedures by preparing the necessary instruments and equipment. Perform preliminary eye and examination tests that are relevant to the oculoplastic and ophthalmic exam (training included) Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately. Educate patients on their medical/surgical/cosmetic concerns, treatment options, and post-operative care. Handle phone calls, patient triage, and administrative tasks to assist the provider. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships Collaborate with team members to enhance patient experience and streamline clinic operations.
Aesthetic license/experience is a requirement. Any eye or plastic surgery experience is helpful, but will provide on-site training. It is possible for the candidate to also become a certified ophthalmic technician after 2 years. Knowledge of medical office practices and medical terminology helpful Familiarity with medications and ocular disease processes is a plus. Commitment to excellence in patient care and relations.
