• SUMMARY: Assists the pharmacist by recoding physician orders for medications for oral, rectal, topical and injectable use; prepares and files charge slips and performs other related duties. Responsible for checking outdates & documentation for injectables including Class II narcotics. Making sure all medications are used per route of administration.
• QualificationsPOSITION
• QUALIFICATIONS: One year related pharmacy experience and/or training, or graduate of certified training program/healthcare careers college. Hold all appropriate certificates or licenses required. Be educated on all age groups ranging from newborn to the geriatric population obtained either in school education, experience or subsequent training. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Strong written and verbal skills. Strong computer skills. High School diploma or equivalent.
