A high school diploma is preferred, along with a compassionate approach toward elderly and disabled residents. Previous healthcare housekeeping experience and knowledge of cleaning chemicals are considered a plus.
Description We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team. This full-time, day shift position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff and families. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, demonstrates respect and compassion for residents, and understands the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and clinical spaces Perform routine housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and trash removal Follow infection control and safety procedures in accordance with facility guidelines Replenish supplies in resident rooms and common areas Maintain confidentiality and respect for residents at all times

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care, is a plus Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and reliability Compassionate and respectful approach when working around elderly and disabled residents Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.
