Provide comprehensive neonatal care for infants across the spectrum of needs, including those requiring ECMO and major surgical interventions. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team across Level III and Level IV NICUs and partner community sites.
Must hold an M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree and be board certified or eligible in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Requires a current Minnesota Medical License and completion of an ACGME Accredited Fellowship program.

License/Certification/Registration required? Yes *Board BE/BC in Pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics. *Completion of an ACGME Accredited Fellowship program, per sub specialty requirements. *Board BE/BC in Sub Specialty, if applicable. Ability to be successfully credentialed by both Hospital and 3rd Party Payers.
*Must have an M.D., D.O. or equivalent degree from another country with a current Minnesota Medical License or the ability to obtain one.
*Clinical competency and expertise in caring for hospitalized children. *Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics. *Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications. *In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices. *Excellent oral and written communication skills. *Respect for patient's confidentiality. *Compassionate and approachable. *Responsible and trustworthy.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
