Assess patient abilities and limitations including neuromuscular movement and stability, sensation, perception, muscle strength, range of motion, body mechanics, vocational and prevocational abilities (adults), and developmental milestones (pediatrics). Tailor verbal and written communication to the age, educational level, and needs of patients, families, and other stakeholders, ensuring information is delivered clearly and appropriately.
