The neonatologist will manage the day-to-day operations of the NICU, including delivery attendance and patient transport facilitation. They will work collaboratively with a team of neonatal nurse practitioners and other neonatologists.
Candidates must hold a Texas medical license and have DEA certification. Board Certification or Eligibility in Neonatology is also required.

This organization is a physician-owned medical group specializing in the care of expectant mothers and newborns. They were founded in 2016 by a small group of neonatologists and have grown to operate in multiple states with more than 100 board certified neonatologists, OB hospitalists, and pediatric specialists on their team. They combine a national infrastructure with local support, using their breadth and depth of clinical and operational resources to allow physicians to focus their time on delivering care.
This is an excellent opportunity for a neonatologist to join a highly skilled team within a thriving, physician-led organization. The position is based in a medical center in Tyler:
The position operates on a collaborative 2-neonatologist model, with 24/7 in-house support from neonatal nurse practitioners (NNPs).
The schedule is typically 7 on / 7 off, but is flexible and collaboratively decided by the physicians.
