Provides culturally sensitive and developmentally appropriate basic patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, assisting with hygiene, and supporting the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification. Candidates should have up to six months of related experience or an equivalent combination of training and education.
Under the leadership of the departmental Nursing Director and the supervision of a licensed nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant provides culturally sensitive, developmentally appropriate patient care. The Certified Nursing Assistant works under close supervision of a licensed nurse and performs a variety of basic patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs of patients.
Requires a high school diploma or GED state certification or similar demonstrated ability.
Requires up to six months of work-related experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Requires and maintains a Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
· Performs other related job duties as assigned to assure resident safety
