The Family APRN will work collaboratively within a healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.
Job
Functions/Responsibilities: Obtain comprehensive medical histories and conduct physical examinations. Diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries. Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, imaging studies). Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed. Develop and implement individualized care plans. Counsel patients on preventive health measures, such as vaccinations and healthy lifestyle choices. Provide education to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions and treatment plans. Make referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers as appropriate. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Stay current with the latest medical advancements and best practices. Participate in quality improvement initiatives. Adhere to all applicable regulations and guidelines. Demonstrate a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsRequired
Experience: Experience working with diverse patient populations. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
