You will monitor and provide directed treatment for complex injuries and illnesses, engaging in guided assessments and providing treatment under supervision. Additionally, you will maintain patient medical records and documentation consistent with regulations and DocGo standards.
Candidates must have one of the specified medical assistant certifications and a valid NY Driver’s License with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a relevant setting. Phlebotomy experience and current BLS certification are also required.
Act as a conduit for the medical treatment of the Health Plan Partnerships patient population Navigate conversations related to management of health, well-being, medication management, and goals of care Provide supervised, directed treatment of common medical diagnoses Participate in continuing education as required by the state where you reside and the DocGo training team Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics Provide care with cultural sensitivity and compassion Lead your practice with a patient-centered approach Other related duties as deemed necessary
Must have one of the following certifications: MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA. (Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant). Valid Driver's License in state of residency with 2+ years of driving experience, and an acceptable driving record Must have minimum 2 years of recent in-person experience as a MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA in an Urgent Care, Primary Care, or related setting Phlebotomy experience Active and current American Heart Association BLS Ability to lift & carry 30-40lbs in a backpack style equipment bag Clinical work experience with pediatrics, preferred Fluent bilingual English/Spanish, preferred EEO/AAP Statement: DocGo is an equal opportunity employer.
