The RN is responsible for managing the full nursing process, including patient assessment, care planning, and maintaining accurate medical records. They also serve as a resource person for staff and may assume the role of charge nurse to oversee unit operations.
Candidates must be a licensed Registered Nurse in Massachusetts with BLS certification and Med/Surg experience in an acute care facility within the last two years. A BSN and certifications in ACLS or chemotherapy are preferred.
· Ability to read, write, and communicate in English · Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing · (RN) - Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts · (BLS) - Current Basic Life Support certification · CCHC Pharmacology Exam (pass prior to start date) · CCHC Basic Arrhythmia Exam (pass prior to start date) RN Residency & Transition (job code: 6004), must be completed within 3 months from start date · Med/Surg experience in an acute care facility within the last (2) two years · (Preferred) - Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) · (Preferred) - Experience in the management of cardiac patients · (Preferred) - ACLS, recent telemetry experience, Med/Surg. certification · (Preferred) – Chemotherapy/biotherapy certification · (Preferred) – Chemotherapy practicum
