The Pharmacy Technician performs pharmacy-related functions under the direction of a pharmacist to provide optimal pharmaceutical care. Responsibilities include applying knowledge of pharmacy calculations, pharmacology, and health-system operations.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and an Illinois Pharmacy Technician License. National Pharmacy Technician Certification is required within 90 days of hire.

A Pharmacy Technician I maintains a foundation of knowledge in pharmacy calculations, basic pharmacology, health-system pharmacy operations, pharmacy law and interpersonal communication. A Pharmacy Technician II performs pharmacy-related functions under the direction of a pharmacist and in compliance with department policies and procedures to provide optimal pharmaceutical care.
Education Qualifications: Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience Qualifications: Health-system pharmacy experience preferred

The pay range for this position is $18.90 - 28.34 per hour.
Pay is determined based on various factors, including education level, years of experience, relevant certifications, and specific skills related to the position. The final compensation package will be discussed with Human Resources to ensure fairness and alignment with the candidate's qualifications.
