The role primarily involves serving as a surgical technician for high-volume spay/neuter and dental procedures, including work on a mobile vehicle. Additionally, the technician will handle routine veterinary care and clinical appointments at main and satellite locations.
Applicants must hold a valid LVT license in the Commonwealth of Virginia for at least one year. A minimum of one year of experience in surgery and anesthesia is also required.
The Virginia Beach SPCA (VBSPCA) Low-Cost Veterinary Clinic is looking for an experienced licensed veterinary technician to join our dedicated team of veterinary professionals. The VBSPCA is a full-service clinic that focuses on high-volume spay/neuter, dental procedures, specialty surgeries, and routine veterinary care.
This position will primarily be a surgical technician scheduled for surgeries, dental procedures, and on our mobile spay/neuter vehicle, the Neuter Scooter, but may also be scheduled for clinical appointments at our main and satellite clinic as needed.

The VBSPCA Low-Cost Veterinary Clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, Saturday from 8am to 3pm, and closed on Sundays.
Full-Time positions are 32-40 hours a week.
$25 - $28 an hour based on experience and skill
