Supports operative teams by functioning in the primary scrub position and assisting with technical responsibilities during surgical procedures. Ensures all necessary instruments and supplies are present and maintains the sterile field with correct medications.
Requires enrollment in the final year of a Surgical Technologist program and thorough knowledge of asepsis and instrumentation. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
