The Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists in providing safe drug distribution and clinical services to patients. Key duties include operating robotic dispensing systems, preparing sterile and cytotoxic products, and managing medication inventory.
Requires a high school diploma and Virginia Board of Pharmacy technician registration. PTCB certification and at least one year of pharmacy experience are preferred.

Previous work experience (minimum of 1 year) at a pharmacy in appropriate settings is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills required. Strong mathematical skills required. Ability to work with computers. Ability to work in a versatile environment and manage multi-task demands. Capacity to cope with difficult situations. Ability to tolerate irregular hours including evenings, nights, and weekends.
