The Inpatient RN coordinates nursing care, providing direct patient care and education for children with burns and craniofacial conditions. The role involves delivering both Med-Surg and ICU level care while acting as a leader and preceptor within a collaborative environment.
Candidates must have a BSN degree (or be in process), an Ohio RN License, and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include 2+ years of bedside experience, pediatric and ICU expertise, and PALS certification.
This full-time night shift position will work 72 hours bi-weekly (7:00 pm - 7:30 am) and rotate every 3rd weekend.
The Inpatient RN is responsible for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care in a collaborative, family-centered environment. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. This position will provide leadership by acting as an informal and formal leader, preceptor and through quality improvement efforts. This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
