The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing care for general medical/surgical patients. Key duties include administering medications, processing physician orders, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to update treatment plans.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse with an associate degree in nursing, though a bachelor's degree is preferred. Required certifications include BLS, and candidates must obtain DIMC and TEAM Advanced certifications within specified timeframes.
This position is able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for general medical/surgical patients. Employees who are in the casual position are required to pick up shifts as outlined in the Midland Nursing Casual Employee Policy.
