Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed respiratory therapy and patient care per physician orders, hospital policies, and department standards
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures
• Evaluate patient response to therapy and adjust treatments as needed to optimize outcomes
• Educate patients and staff on respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety precautions
• Conduct routine maintenance and service checks on respiratory therapy equipment
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to care and equipment usage

Requirements

• Active Michigan state license to practice respiratory therapy - 2+ years of RRT experience (required)
• BLS certification and NBRC credential (RRT)
• Ventilator, BiPAP, ICU, ER, and ABG training (required)
• ACLS preferred
• Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts and meet 36-hour guaranteed schedule
• Willingness to participate in on-call coverage and weekend rotation
