Implement and coordinate spiritual services for patients and their families. Provide spiritual support to the bereavement program in accordance with company policies and patient belief systems.
Must be ordained or ecclesiastically endorsed to function in a pastoral capacity with experience in end-of-life care. Requires a valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and basic technology skills.
Implement and coordinate all activities of the spiritual services program and the delivery of spiritual services to patients and their families. Provide support to the bereavement program with the provision of spiritual support to the patient and their family, secondary to personal desires and belief system, and consistent with Enhabit policies and procedures.
Must be an individual who, by ordination or by ecclesiastical endorsement from the individual's denomination, has been approved to function in a pastoral capacity. Must have demonstrated experience in working with patients and families dealing with life-threatening illness and death. Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device. Education and experience, preferred Training in clinical pastoral education, meeting the requirements for the college of chaplains, may be considered in lieu of ordination or endorsement. Education and experience, state specific GEORGIA - One unit CPE (clinical pastoral education) from a nationally recognized provider is required.ILLINOIS - One year experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is required.MISSOURI - One unit CPE (clinical pastoral education) from the college of chaplains is required.
Must possess a valid state driver license Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition Must be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
