The technologist is responsible for performing radiographic procedures and reviewing imaging requests to determine proper protocols. They must ensure exam quality, document completions in medical records, and maintain the safety of equipment and exam areas.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved Radiologic Technology program with ARRT registration and New York State licensure. Experience with Radiology Information Systems and various radiographic equipment is required.
1.Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program, required. 2.New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, required. 3.American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration, required. 4.Experience with Radiology Information System, PC, radiographic equipment (i.e. portable/fixed units, c-arms, fluoroscopic equipment), required.
5.Strong Interpersonal skills preferred.
