The Chaplain provides spiritual care and pastoral counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and staff within an interdisciplinary team. They perform spiritual assessments to address the dynamics of illness, loss, and death across various religious orientations.
The candidate must possess the skill and compassion necessary to handle spiritual dynamics related to end-of-life care. They should be able to provide professional pastoral interventions sensitive to diverse values and beliefs.
