Perform vascular duplex ultrasound examinations to evaluate venous systems and assess venous insufficiency. Assist with thermal, chemical, and foam venous ablations while documenting findings and collaborating with vascular specialists.

Overview Ultrasound Tech – Vascular, travel assignment in Ohio, United States. Start date 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,914–$3,035 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 hours weekly.

Shift

Four 10-hour days, Monday–Thursday, 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vascular ultrasound examinations and venous insufficiency assessments to support patient care.
  • Conduct complete Venous Insufficiency exams and execute therapies including thermal, chemical, and foam venous ablations.
  • Document imaging findings and prepare preliminary reports for review by the vascular team.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and contribute to quality assurance, infection control, and patient safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with technologists, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure timely imaging and accurate results.

Requirements

  • Certification: RVT or RVS required
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a Vein Treatment Program with experience in complete Venous Insufficiency Exams and Thermal, Chemical, and Foam Venous Ablations
  • Licensure/Certification: Active RVT or RVS credential
  • Setting/Schedule: Ability to work in an outpatient vascular imaging setting with a 4x10 schedule
  • Travel eligibility for a 13-week assignment as a traveling ultrasound tech
