The Physician Assistant will diagnose psychiatric conditions and manage medication and therapy for new and existing patients. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations via in-person and telemedicine visits and developing integrated healthcare treatment plans.
Candidates must hold a valid California practice license, an NPI, and current DEA licensure with full prescription authority. Preference is given to those with at least two years of behavioral health experience and bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
Pacific Neuropsychiatric Specialists (PNS) is actively seeking a Physician Assistant to join our growing organization. We are an outpatient private mental health group practice composed of Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and Therapists who are motivated to help our patients make positive changes in their lives.
At PNS, the Psychiatrists, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioner, Therapists, and Patient Care Coordinators are our priority and providing comprehensive, collaborative, and compassionate care is the foundation of our culture. You will have the opportunity to work a mix of office outpatient and telepsychiatry services. The Physician Assistant will diagnose, conduct assessments and prescribe medications for patients having psychiatric-mental health conditions. The role also includes developing an appropriate, integrated healthcare treatment plan and providing effective management of patient care with proper evaluation and follow-up care.
