Registered Nurse

• The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process to plan and deliver quality nursing care to assigned patients.
• The RN utilizes critical thinking to plan and select appropriate interventions for patient care that result in the desired patient outcomes.
• The RN directs and accepts the responsibility for immediate supervision of assistive personnel.
• The RN delegates care appropriately according to nursing practice standards.
• The RN participates in the orientation of new employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.

Licensure/Certification

Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Nebraska.

Experience

None required; some experience necessary for specific specialty areas.

Certifications

American Heart Association’s BLS for Healthcare Providers required upon hire.
