Collects, labels, and processes blood specimens for laboratory testing using age-appropriate techniques. Maintains medical supplies and assists in coordinating blood drives and donor screening.
Requires a high school diploma and preferably a nationally accredited phlebotomy training course or certification from ASCP or NHA. BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

and requirements: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred; An approved nationally accredited training course in Phlebotomy Preferred Licenses: Certification from ASCP or NHA Preferred Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days of hire Minimum Work Experience Formal Phlebotomy training Preferred Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
