Performs basic patient care activities under the supervision of an RN or LPN. Responsibilities include managing patient populations from neonates to older adults and handling medical records.
Requires a state-certified Nursing Assistant license and BLS certification. A high school diploma is preferred, and Handle with Care certification is desired.
Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
Under the supervision of an RN or LPN, performs basic patient care activities in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.
Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.
Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.
Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.
Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
