The Surgical Technologist is responsible for scrubbing into various surgical cases while maintaining strict asepsis. They also assist circulating nurses with patient care and handle sterile processing of instruments during on-call shifts.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited surgical technology school and hold a BLS certification from the AHA or Red Cross. Certification through NBSTSA and one year of OR experience are preferred.
This position proficiently scrubs on a variety of surgical cases and maintain asepsis. Also assist circulating nurse with patient care. Assist in sterile processing and process instruments when on call.
