Assist therapists in executing rehabilitation procedures and support general center operations. Responsibilities include monitoring patient reactions, managing ancillary service schedules, and maintaining equipment cleanliness.
Requires an Associate's Degree in an OT Assistant program and valid COTA licensure. Candidates must hold CPR certification and a Class E license for shuttle bus operation.
Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.) Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment
Education: Associate's Degree in an OT Assistant program required Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) required Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification Class E license allowing for the operation of the shuttle bus prior to start date.
