Weekly pay range $2,102–$2,235 with a 40-hour guaranteed workweek.
Schedule follows a 5-day pattern: Mon–Thu 8:00 AM–5:30 PM and Fri 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, in an acute care environment with some outpatient exposure.

Responsibilities
Evaluate patient function by performing formal and informal assessments to determine skeletal, neurological, respiratory, cardiovascular status, development, social, and cognitive function.
Develop goal-specific treatment regimes based on assessment data and patient tolerance; implement interventions as prescribed.
Submit written treatment plans to be included in the plan of care, coordinate with the physician, and cosign verbal orders for occupational therapy assistants as needed.
Devise a schedule of treatment (frequency and duration) and coordinate with patient, family, and clinical support staff.
Educate patient, family, and caregiver regarding pathology, prognosis, and rationale for treatment; supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, Home Health Aides, and students per affiliate and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Active Michigan Occupational Therapist License (LARA) – REQUIRED
Active American Heart Association BLS Certification – REQUIRED
OT experience, primarily in acute care with some outpatient exposure – REQUIRED
Ability to work in an acute care setting and follow physician orders within the plan of care
Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years – REQUIRED
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the assignment location; local candidates will not be considered
