Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill adults in the ICU, delivering patient-centered care aligned with evidence-based practice
• Monitor vital signs, interpret monitoring data, administer medications, and support advanced therapies as delegated
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (physicians, therapists, and support staff) to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document care activities, assessments, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record; communicate changes promptly
• Respond to acute patient changes with rapid assessment and escalation per established protocols
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-ICU care expectations; advocate for patient safety and comfort

Requirements

• Active RN license in Georgia
• ICU/critical care nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts (3x12)
• Willingness to participate in a travel temporary assignment
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
