The provider is responsible for delivering a broad range of medical services, including patient evaluations, treatments, and the management of care plans. They must coordinate with clinical teams and supervise patient care across various agencies to ensure high-quality health outcomes.
Candidates must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in North Carolina with a current DEA certificate. Previous experience in a medical office or FQHC is preferred, along with current CPR certification.

The Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP), under the supervision of the Physician, is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management. Under a physician’s supervision, the PA/NP is responsible for the delivery of a broad range of medical services, including taking medical histories, conducting physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, administering treatments (e.g., suturing, casting and minor surgery), monitoring patients, prescribing medications, assisting physicians, and counseling and educating patients.
Graduation from an accredited program. Current State of North Carolina PA or NP licensure/certification required. Current DEA certificate required. Board Certification if applicable.
