The APP provides comprehensive assessment, triage, and therapeutic management for surgical patients as part of an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include performing physical exams, managing treatment plans, and serving as a first or second assistant during operative cases.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited NP or PA program with 1-3 years of inpatient surgical experience. Required credentials include active state licensure, NCCPA certification (for PAs), and ACLS/BLS and DEA certifications.
