Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients Assist in diagnostic procedures and interpret results Provide patient education and support regarding gastrointestinal health Collaborate with medical staff to ensure coordinated care Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records Participate in case reviews and quality improvement initiatives Stay updated on advancements in gastroenterology practices and protocols
Associate degree in Nursing or related field Current NP or PA certification and state licensure Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in gastroenterology Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Strong organizational and time management skills Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
Schedule: 7 on/7 off, 8 or 12-hour shifts
Duties: Rounding and ED consults
Support Staff: Gastroenterologist on-call
Must be board-certified
