Provide a safe and supportive environment for clients through group and family sessions, initial assessments, and individualized treatment planning. Manage patient documentation, crisis intervention, and coordinate aftercare and referrals to ensure quality care.
Requires a high school diploma and experience in counseling through internships or certification, with a bachelor's degree preferred. Must hold or be eligible for state counseling licensure and possess CPR and de-escalation certifications.
We are hiring a compassionate and experienced, certified Substance Abuse Counselor to work with our Clients in Outpatient at The Camp Recovery Center l! This is a key role whose primary goal is to provide a safe, supportive, nurturing environment for our clients. The Camp Recovery Center is a 74-bed treatment center providing services to adults and adolescents on both an inpatient and outpatient basis.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: · High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in social or health services field preferred. · Experience in counseling field instruction/internship or similar practicum through education or certification process required. LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: · Licensure or certification for counseling, as required by the state in which the facility operates; OR state license or certification eligible within the timeframe designated by the facility. · CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). · First aid may be required based on state or facility. ADDITIONAL REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS: · Completion of ongoing education and training, as required by the state in which the facility operates and applicable accrediting body.
