Seasonal Radiology Tech

• Positions range from permanent clinical float roles (Full time or Part Time) to Seasonal 13-week assignments with significantly higher base pay.

• Under the direction of a Radiologist, Administrative Director, Radiology Team Leader, or Radiology Section Manager performs radiographic procedures according to protocols established for various age groups of patients, at a technical level requiring minimal supervision of technical detail.
• Performs a wide variety of general radiographic procedures including but not limited to, complex portables, Trauma Alerts unassisted, complex Fluoroscopy, Basic C-arm, and sterile contrast studies.
• All technical procedures will require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis.
• Assumes responsibility for designated area or procedures as required.
• Assess the age-specific needs of the patients.
• Performs job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program from an accredited school Registered ARRT Current BLS certification through American Heart Association Florida Licensure as Radiologic Technologist by State of Florida 1 year of progressively responsible experience in a hospital diagnostic imaging department
