Provide first-level patient care including monitoring vitals, promoting hygiene, and assisting with daily living activities. Collaborate with Registered Nurses to report changes in patient condition and ensure a safe environment for patients and visitors.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Prior patient care experience and knowledge of medical terminology are strongly preferred.

In this position, you will be an important member of the patient care team under the direction of a Registered Nurse. As part of the patient care team, the PCA ensures a safe environment for patients, visitors, and coworkers, as well as appropriate utilization of resources. The PCA ensures comfort and the first level of care for patients.
The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $18.75 to $28.13 per hour. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
