A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with prior laboratory or cytology experience preferred. Candidates must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to work with biological specimens.
Description Join our fast-paced laboratory team! Reliance Pathology Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Cytoprep Laboratory Assistant to support our cytology department. This position is responsible for receiving and preparing specimens, performing stains, and assisting with slide preparation for cytotechnologist review.
Receive and accession cytology specimens. Perform gross description and assign case numbers. Prepare, stain, and cover-slip slides. Assist with cell block preparation from fluids and FNAs. Maintain equipment logs, clean work areas, and follow safety protocols. Collaborate with the cytotechnologist to ensure stain quality. Why Join Us?
