Provide emotional support and resource guidance to clients using lived experience in mental health recovery. Collaborate with the treatment team to implement care plans and advocate for client wellness.
Requires a high school diploma and the ability to become a certified peer supporter within six months. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and capable of working a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Peer Support Specialists provide support to clients using their lived experience in mental health recovery. They offer emotional support, case management, recovery skills, resource guidance, and community assistance, while helping staff understand barriers to treatment. This role includes outreach, client engagement, and active participation on the Dani’s Place treatment team, following all State, Agency, and Program policies.
