The Physical Therapist evaluates patients to establish and implement effective treatment plans with functional goals. They provide therapeutic interventions, patient education, and document results to modify treatment plans as needed.
Candidates must be a Licensed Physical Therapist with either a Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Two years of clinical experience in physical therapy is preferred.
The Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services by evaluating patients, establishing and implementing effective treatment plans with functional treatment goals, providing patient education and therapeutic intervention/activity programs and educating in use of assistive devices. Position is responsible for observing, evaluating and documenting the results of treatment interventions and modifying age-appropriate treatment plan accordingly. The primary setting for this position is the WakeMed North Hospital but may be required to cover other area of the WakeMed Rehab continuum as needed. Department Description
