Perform ultrasound imaging to visualize cardiac structures, valves, and blood flow. Assist physicians with complex ultrasound procedures and manage clerical functions within the Cardiopulmonary Department.
Requires completion of an Echocardiogram program, current BCLS certification, and ARDMS or CCI credentials. Candidates must have at least one year of Echo Tech experience and the ability to assist with TEE testing.
Uses ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle and left atrium and visualize blood flow. Assists the physician with complex ultrasound procedures. Promotes the smooth and efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department through the appropriate utilization and management of all clerical functions within the department document handling and disposition, interpersonal relationships and information gathering and dispersion.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Completion of Echocardiogram program or equivalent training required.2. Current BCLS certificate upon hire and maintain current required.3. Able to assist physician with TEE testing required.4. Previous one (1) year of Echo Tech experience required.5. Hospital experience in the Cardiology field preferred.6. Effective July 1, 2017 ARDMS or CCI Required. #LI-JO3 Pay Transparency Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $44.61 to $62.76 per hour. This compensation estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
