The Surgical Student Tech, under the supervision of a Staff Nurse or authorized designee, assists with the care of the patient in the Operating Room by scrubbing for most types of surgery.
Assists the Surgeon and Anesthetist within the limits of current level of a technician's education.
May perform some housekeeping and preparation of supplies and instrumentation.
