A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant performs routine occupational therapy treatments according to patient treatment plans under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist, especially activities of daily living. Documents findings, progress and instruction to patients and caregivers.

Requires an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy and current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. CPR certification is required, and at least 2 years of outpatient experience is preferred.
